GSRBC needs your help!

GSRBC is sending out a plea for help. We are at an all time low in our finances, and are almost out of food. We will need to place an order soon. As well, we have outstanding bills at 2 different vets. 

Our society has just taken Tye into our care as we committed to him several months ago.
With him, we still have Parker, Kyzr and Greta to provide for. 

GSRBC needs your help!

We have a few fundraisers in the works; one being our upcoming raffle that we are looking to get off the ground in a hurry.
A 2 night stay at the Alpenglow in Whistler has been generously donated to GSRBC for one of our prizes, and we are looking for something to add to it.
In the past, we have had passes to the zip lines and also a gift certificate to the keg. We are seeking volunteer help to contact local businesses in Whistler to help us obtain something like that to make our package complete.
One of our members has generously donated a bar fridge with her Save On More points, and we are looking for items to go with this as well.

We are also planning our spring fling affair, which is similar to our Dogtoberfest and are looking for items for our silent auction and door prizes. 

Donations are always hard to come by, so please think of us if you have anything to donate. Tax receipts are always given for fair market value if you no longer have the receipt.

We are extremely worried about our financial state right now, and are hoping that with the amount of support that GSRBC has, we can put our heads together help the society  keep up with the needs of the dogs in our care.

Ticket sales are now open for GSRBC's 2014 Dogtoberfest!!

We are so excited to have secured Finnegan's Pub and Grill in Abbotsford this year! We'll have tons of room for seating, and no more squished auction items!! WOOT! 

Finnegan's has taken care of the hassle of choosing which meals you'd like to have by putting on a huge buffet full of choices that are sure to please everyone!

As always, your ticket includes your meal, a pint of beer or wine or juice, pop, tea or coffee. 

The evening will be a fantastic time as always, with our silent auction, 50/50 draw, prize tree, toonie toss and many other fun games we have planned for the evening. 

We have sold out consistently every year and are sad when we have to turn people away! So please get your tickets early this year! 

We will be celebrating the German Shepherd Dog's heritage this October 25th 2014.

*Doors open at 6pm, dinner served at 7pm

*Tickets are $30 each or a party table of 6 for $150

As GSRBC receives no outside funding, it is up to our fundraising efforts to be able to provide veterinary care, food and housing to those that need us most.  With your help, GSRBC has been reaching out to help those in need for 11 years now! So come on out and help us help them again, while having a great time doing it!
