Pender Island is once again "Going to the Dogs" 

 Saturday, February, 23, 2013

This is the "social event of the season" with tons of games, prizes and a fabulous silent auction … 
not to mention the delicious food AND great friends. 

At this time we are looking for items for the silent auction, prizes and goody bags!

As always, we can use just about anything … 
Theme packages include but are not limited to:
    Dogs … Large & small
    Wine and/or Happy Hour
    Kitchen
    Entertaining
    Outdoor pursuits: hiking, kayaking, golf, etc ..
    Patio and gardening
   
    Gift certificates for iTunes, movies, restaurants, coffee …

    Services:  pet care, dog walking, house sitting, yard work .. etc.

As always, 100% of moneys raised go to the dogs!

Donations for Dogtoberfest

We are looking for items to use as prizes for games & door prizes and for the silent auction.

We would love "stand alone" theme baskets or items to add to the packages that we have started putting together ... such as:
Kitchen, Baking, Gardening, Children's games & toys, Christmas, Birding, Outdoor patio entertaining, Coffee & Tea, Wine & entertaining, Big dogs, Small dogs, Cats, Pamper yourself, Games, Home office, Jewellery, For him, Electronics ... Anything goes!!

Gift certificates for services such as pet walking, dog sitting, training, photography, housecleaning, etc. make GREAT prizes or additions to theme baskets.  One can use "Airmiles" to purchase gift certificates from various restaurants, iTunes, etc.
 
Nothing is too big or too small as we can find a place for everything!!

GSRBC has been invited to attend the 21st annual Great Canadian VW Show!! Come on out and see us at the Sharks Club Bar & Grill, 20169 - 88 Avenue, Langley, BC August 25th @ 5pm for the DVKK - Dub Allstars Casual Show Shine n Dinner.
We'll be set up outside the main doors of the Sharks Club, located at the base of the Sandman Hotel!

On Sunday, August 26th - We'll be out again at the Langley Events Centre, 7888 - 200th Street from 9 - 4:30pm 
 The Great Canadian Volkswagen Show will welcome approximately 5000 car enthusiasts and their families to the Langley Events Centre. Air cooled and Water cooled, New and Old, VWs will be on display and ready for judging throughout the park. Families can enjoy taking part in a variety of activities and vendors will be showcasing what’s new and hot on the market.

Tickets are going fast, so come and get your chance to win before they are all gone!

Help April Raise Money for the Dogs

Help April Raise Money for GSRBC

One of GSRBC's super adopters, April, (Asia 2009) has registered as a walk/run participant in the Great Lake Walk on September 15, 2012.  This 56 km "Ultramarathon" around beautiful Cowichan Lake on Vancouver Island, BC., is a race that raises money for the charity of the participant's choice.  And April has chosen GSRBC!! 

But she needs pledges!!  Any amount is helpful.  Contact April directly by email at  teddiesandteacups@shaw.ca   with your pledge amount, name, address & phone number so that she can collect your pledge after the race.
